Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AlarmUniversal ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

License

AlarmUniversal is open-source software. The source code is available under the terms specified in the project's GitHub repository. You are free to use, modify, and distribute the App in accordance with the applicable license.

Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose as an alarm clock and sleep management tool. You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Reverse engineer the App beyond what is permitted by the open-source license

Alarm Reliability

While we strive to make alarms as reliable as possible, the App is provided "as is". We cannot guarantee that alarms will always fire on time due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to:

  • Device battery optimization and power management (especially on Xiaomi, Huawei, Samsung, Oppo devices)
  • Operating system restrictions on background processes
  • Device being powered off or in airplane mode
  • System updates or crashes

Do not rely solely on this App for critical alarms (e.g., medical appointments, flights). Always use a backup alarm for important events.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPERS OF ALARMUNIVERSAL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS ARISING FROM MISSED ALARMS, SLEEP DISRUPTION, OR RELIANCE ON SLEEP STATISTICS.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
